Shilpa Bhagat to represent India at Mrs. World 2013 The Tiara’s Shilpa Bhagat is the Indian Ambassador to the World’s most prestigious Beauty Pageant for married Women that is the Mrs World Beauty Pageant. Formatted in 1985 is one of World’s oldest Beauty Pageants headquartered in California State of USA. Mrs World 2013 will be held at Guangzhou, China from 14th Nov till 23 Nov 2013. Shilpa Bhagat is a resident of Mumbai, a loving wife and mother, co- founder of a charitable institution, and now the reigning Mrs. India. World 2013. This beauty comes with brains too; Shilpa is a gold medallist from the Jadhavpur University and has completed her post graduation in Finance from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development. She then worked with HDFC bank in their Financial Institutions Group in Mumbai for a couple of years Shilpa is also the co-founder of The Cuddles foundation. The Foundation’s work is focused on improving the lives of children from low income groups by giving them access to best medical equipment, medicines and an environment that aid faster recovery. Shilpa has been associated with the foundation from inception and has been instrumental in its growth. “Being a mother of 4 year old twins, I understand the importance of balancing my time between social work; active development of my children; being a good home-maker as well as continually enhancing my own skills.
